Hello. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but here's the best I can explain it:
The main problem is it not booting into android. I hold the power button, it shows the white Motorola logo, plays through the animation, sits at the "Droid" screen for about 45 seconds, then the screen goes black. The Turbo gets very hot and does nothing. However, sometimes, it will turn back on saying "Optimizing app x/4" then turning on. If it does turn on, it will work for a varied amount of time until apps start crashing, the phone getting very hot, and eventually the screen going black, showing about half a half a second of the intro animation, and dying altogether. Wierd, I know.
I've already tried:
1. Factory Resetting
2. Clearing Partition Cache
3. "adb sideload default.zip"
("adb sideload" fails with E: Footer is Wrong, E: Signature Verification failed, Aboting install")
4. Opening the phone and reconnecting battery
5. Completely discharging and recharging the battery
6. Contacting Verizon
7. Checking for water damage, none found
The only thing I can think of is a faulty battery or some overheat damage, although it never actually shut off. Any ideas? Any help appreciated
