Turn off caller readout

Has anyone figured out how to turn off the caller id readout? The phone starts to ring and then announces caller and it's too quiet

Can I ask if you see the following boxes to check

Driving mode is not on the s5 and text to speech was the first thing I checked out. It was never checked. Have tried all the older ways. Not something that is different in kitkat or the samsung

What carrier? I have a sprint s5 and it has car mode.

It is sprint. I turned on voice answer at first and found this is what causes the phone to read out caller Id. I have found car mode as well

Settings, accessibility, Vision, click on talkback, click on settings in the talkback window (Bottom of window) Uncheck speak caller id

You're welcome :)

While this may work some of the time if you have "using voice commands" turned on in the "Answering and Ending Calls" under "Call Settings" you WILL still get that annoying voiceover, regradless of whether speak caller id is on or off.
The best way to get rid of that voice is "Applications" "Call" "Answering and Ending Calls" Turn off "Using Voice Commands"

And YOU are welcome.

As I said that not issue. The voice call answering is the ussue, so u were of no help sonce I did figure it out b4 u posted. Amazing how many people can not read

I'd tried everything that was suggested on all of the forums but it was still reading out some names. Finally figured out it was just reading out the names of my favourite contacts. It was greyed out but still ticked within the Language input >> Notification readout. Have removed all of contacts from being favourites and problem has gone away.

Anyone know how you can untick that greyed out box so that you can use favourite contacts?

Go to your phone and click the three dots on the right click settings then click calls then press on answerino and ending calls and turn of voice control
