Turn off Internet access: box does not get unchecked?

I do not make it in settings, "Wireless and Networks"..."Mobile Networks" to get that hook undisappear, respectively grayed out for the option "Data enabled". After touching that (hook) area the green hooks just keeps staying like it is. Is there another way to switch off the Internet access of the Samsung Galaxy S6102 Duos (but keep the access to WLAN)?

And can I do it before the phone gets access to the Internet after switching it on?

How could I after turning off the Internet access check whether it is really switched off?

If you have Lollipop, the only way to turn data OFF is manually.
I have info from the developer of MacroDroid stating that when 5.0 was released, they removed all of the APIs for developers to have access to toggling DATA on/off.

You will not find any widgets or apps that can do that. I used MacroDroid to toggle DATA off/on but it no longer works unless your device is ROOTED...

Many thanks.

Lollipop? MacroDroid? Hmmm, I do not have any idea of anything. But, it somehow sounds like turning off the Internet access is not that easy.

Many thanks again.

Lollipop is just the friendly name given to Android version 5.0 and 5.1. I believe your S6102 is on Android 2.3 Gingerbread so you don't need to worry about any of the info @AZgl1500 provided this time. ;)
