Help Turn off Missed Call Notification

Hi All,

I have had my S5 since the day they were released, and I love it.

Problem is, if I miss a call I get a notification in "phone" and a text message as well. I then need to go into both of them to remove the 1 from the icon.

How do I turn off the text message notification?

Now that is curious, I have never, ever got a text message saying that I had missed a call. I'm inclined to think that has to do with your carrier's voicemail service rather than the phone doing it.

Every phone I have had would put up a little indicator on the top notification bar, and a digit in a circle or square dot showing "how many" missed calls. That circle would be overlaid on the phone app's icon.

If I get a voice mail I get a text as well. I might call them.
