Help Turn off/ on

Hi, i'm runnng 2.2, when i turn off the phone it seems to go off immediatly (black screen) but i cannot turn back on for about 10/20 secs until i feel a vibration, is the phone still in the process of shutting down until it vibrates, is this normal.

Mine does it too so I assume its normal.

Yeah they all do this as far as I know, it vibrates to let you know it's actually finished shutting down.
