Help Turn Off Screen Lock

[keithy397]

Hi,

How do I turn off the screen lock? The smart lock doesn't work too well at home so I want to turn it off altogether.

Cheers,
Keith

Settings > Security and set the lock type to "none". With most devices that should do it.

Hi

On my phone
settings
lock screen
screen lock (and unlock code/pattern)
none
But yours may be different.

IMO Its not really a good idea to set no screen lock in case the phone gets lost/stolen after you forget to reset the screen lock (as sods law says it will)

I always left my screen unlocked,

until, I decided to put an app on that can read credit cards and bank accounts....

after that, it has a PinCode on it and 10 strikes and the phone is erased.
