Help Turn off speaker when using bluetooth

[pwabrahams]

I have a Motorola Moto E phone with Andfroid 5.1. I also have a set of Bluetooth headphones. When I'm on a plane I want to send sound from my phone to my headphones, but not have the sound come out of my phone since it annoys the neighbors. Is there a way to do that?

Bluetooth sound will only go through the Bluetooth device, not thru your phone also.
