Is there anyone out there who uses TeleNav?
I like the app, but there are two things that are driving me crazy.
1.) When the app calculates the route it loudly announces that it's calculating the route. I can see it's calculating the route, I don't need audio confirmation of what I see on the screen. I don't know how to mute that. I've searched forums and tried all of the different settings and the TeleNav forums haven't been any help.
I've had this problem with the last two phones and I am beginning to think I am unable to mute the app, no bueno.
2.) In the morning and evening it pops up a commute report, i.e.: length of commute, traffic issues, etc. However I live in rural Idaho and the only traffic issues I have are few lazy cows from time to to time. Again, searched all of the forums and tried all of the settings and I don't know how to turn this off.
Number 2 has only started since I switched from the Evo 4G LTE on Sprint to my GSIII on Verizon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
