Turn ON torchs via IP

Hi All,

Somebody have a any idea or hack for turn on the torch of an Android via IP?
For a wildlife photographic project I need to control the torchs of two old Androids from my own S4. I will stay in the mountain, the old android have not SIM card (no 3G) and bluetooth is unusuable
My first options was:
- Turn ON Wifi Zone on my phone
- Tasker switches the light when the new Wifi is detect.

but this method fail too much:
- Is very slow (when I activate Wifi zone) the other phones takes about 30 seg - 3 min on detect and connect.
- In one or two hours the devices tend to sleep and not connecting anymore

Now I think what my best option is to keep the phones connected all the time at my phone via Wifi Zone and controlling the lights via IP with tasker or similar. But, How I can switch torch via IP-intranet?

Any suggestions are wellcome.
Thank you.

AutoRemote would be my initial suggestion, but I'm not sure if it will work in a wifi-only scenario (without Internet access). Might be worth playing with though.

Hi, thank you for the suggestions, is interesting...
Yes, my scenario is completely offline, for this reason I think that my best option is connecting two devices at the WIFI of my "master" phone and then manager the torchs... but how?

What do you mean by "how"? Do you have trouble pushing the command to the other phone, or is turning on the torch is the problem? What do you have so far?

I have problems turning on the torch on my phone from other phone in a scenerio without internet and bluetooth!! :D
