Turn over to silence and cover to silence not working! !

Hi does anyone knownhow to get this working? theres a test facility in setting to turn it on and try it but when the phone rings and you turn it over on the desk to silence it the phone just keeps ringing! !!
Anybody got any ideas?

Yes thats where the test feature is, and as you run the test feature the phone simulates an incoming ringing call that is meant to silence once you turn the phone over but it doesnt work! !

Hmm it works for me! I get the best results when I do it.quite quickly. Screen face up to screen face down, and you don't need to actually put it on a desk, it can be done in the air.

Hmm. That is odd! As matttye said, try doing it quickly. If not, make sure that the setting is on. I think you can access the tutorial without actually turning the feature on. Maybe you're pressing it, and instead of turning on (which makes sense logically if you ask me ), it just takes you to the tutorial? Other than that, I'm not sure? Have you got any other apps or anything that might be blocking motion from working at all?
