Help Turning OFF 4G

If you dont live in a 4G area how do you turn this off so it doesn't use battery juice? Thank's in advance guys.

Does having CDMA/LTE on when not in an LTE area eat significant battery? I do not live in a 4G area but drive into one about twice a week. I would like to not have to go into settings all the time. Is there a widget or app out there that you can toggle between CDMA/LTE and CDMA only?

On my last phone (Incredible) there was a widget to turn on/off the mobile data network. Is there a widget like this for Maxx?

There's a widget on Market called 4G Toggle that directly opens the mobile networks section. It's not a direct trigger but it's very convenient.
