Turning off Facebook refresh interval?

[Kaiser17]

Should it affect notifications because I'd imagine its two different things as im assuming the refresh interval is for statuses only or am I wrong? So if I were to turn off the refresh interval I'd still get my notifications right?

No you won't. The refresh interval is for the app to update itself of new notifications, status, everything.
