Help Turning off Google Plus Notifications?

I keep getting notified whenever someone replies to a YouTube comment, +1s something, anything to do with Google Plus and it's really irritating. I can't find a way to turn off anything but gmail notifications. Anyone help?
 
In the G+ app tick the settings button (three vertical dots) and select your email address under Account Settings. In there the first option is Notifications. You can manage what notifications you get from in there or at the top turn them off completely.
