turning off power up "Drooooid" voice?

Is there a way to prevent that "Drooooid" voice from coming on turning power up? Kinda of embarrassing sometimes when with others, in a meeting, etc.

Only way I can think of is to turn your phone all the way down before you turn it off, but you have to do that everytime

That's what I do. Prob the best way to do it. But it has to be preemptive. Should just use airplane mode

Use airplane mode. You won't get any notifications or calls and conserves your battery. Only thing that goes off is alarms and calender reminders. Just be sure they are not the my little pony theme songs set as your reminders and your all set.

I use Volume Control + Pro (there is also a free version) from Play Store. I t gives me direct control of all the audio controls. I simply hit one two buttons at the beginning of the meeting and everything is silent. Hit two buttons at the end of the meeting and everything is again on.

"Silent Boot" and similar apps from Play Store did not work for me. The only thing that I have ever found that actually worked on a Razr/Razr Maxx is "Quiet Restart" from Play Store. There's a free Trial Version that gives you a few free quiet restarts and then you have to pay. The Pro Version is only 99cents and well worth it for your sanity! (Especially now on JB, since the Razr and Razr Maxx have turned up the startup volume!) Thank you, Quiet Restart! I was going crazy from the "DROOOOID" noise!
