tv out ? from a noob

[lowrollerman]

hello, this is my question...what android phones have a slide out keyboard and tv-out function via headphone jack? i am getting a new phone next week and really like the samsung vibrant which does tv-out, but i am on the fence about full touchscreen(used to have the samsung moment, got me hooked on android) so the htc g2 is perfect minus the tv-out. so android experts can you help me find my perfect phone...keyboard and tv-out...thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums, lowrollerman.

You sound like a future Incredible owner, to me.

Droid Incredible does TV out (VIDEO) – Android and Me

AFAIK none of them output video via the headphone jack. The Incredible has an adapter to output video via the microUSB port and there are devices with HDMI out.

Might help to specify the carrier rather than leaving us to assume from context.

Galaxy S is headphone video out. Wish it's micro USB instead.

thanks guys for welcoming me to your forum...sorry i forgot to mention, but the carrier is not important to me, my phone choice will decide my carrier.
i would just love to have the g2 with the vibrant's tv out function...if anyone has suggestions they would be much appreciated
