Go to your friends from the toolbar, select your own twitter account, select the list, then tap the "add column" button at the bottom. You will then have a timeline specific to that list from the main screen that you can access by swiping left or right.
 
anybody figure out how to turn off notifications? this software is off to a promising start but I don't want a notification every time a tweet/FB post comes in.

Menu > Manage Columns > Turn off the notifications for "Home". :)
