Help Twiiter name overrides user name while syncing

While syncing my droid 2 global with gmail, the twiiter name of the contact appears in my contacts and not the actual name of the person. How can i get the actual name of the person in my phone contacts?

1. Create a new contact with the display name and any information you want in the contact that you do not have in the myspace/twitter record.
2. After you've saved the contact open it and click the menu button and select "link contact".
3. You'll be taken back to your full contacts list, select the contact with the bad contact information displayed and link the two together.
4. The bad listing should disappear and your new one with the correct display info should be in its place with the photo from twitter/myspace.

I had a similar issue with a contact using the myspace name instead of the facebook name. I had tried unlinking and linking from each and it didn't seem to matter and the myspace name always won. I solved the issue by removing myspace from my phone!

...still trying to get my contacts to use updated facebook profile pics???
