Twitter for Android App

[Redspooks]

I mistakenly uninstalled the Twitter app on my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5380, it was working perfectly and now I have re-installed a Twitter app and logged in and messages are coming up fine, but I am not getting the profile pictures of the people sending the messages nor pictures that people put links to in their messages... just a grey blank square is all I see for both profile pics and linked pics.... I get the message Image could not be loaded.

When I did a Google Search to download the Twitter App, I used the official one and I saved it to Play Store. I have checked that the app installed is the latest updated one...

TIA

I used the Twitter app for a while and was not impressed with it.

I have had more success using Twicca. So if your efforts to restore Twitter fail then I'd recommend you give Twicca a try.

Thanks for that suggestion, I will give it a go if Twitter decides to mess up again. All of a sudden it righted itself last night and fingers crossed is ok so far...

I like Plume or Ubersocial for Android...don't much care for Twitter for android at all... just in case you're looking for other suggestions
