Twitter Notification Problems With Lollipop (Andoird 5.0)

I just updated my Nexus 5 to Android 5.0 yesterday and since then Twitter notifications (new tweets from people I follow) don't seem to be showing up in my notification area. I have checked twitter's settings and I am set to receive notifications. I checked the accounts setting in the android settings menu and Twitter is set to show notifications.

I'm not sure what else to check.

Hell I can't even log into Twitter with Lollipop. Some sort of error connecting to their server.

Some apps are having weird bugs. if twitter isn't officially supporting 5.0 yet, then I would wait for them to officially support it and see if that fixes it, or shoot their dev team a message to let them know you're having issues.

I don't get many Twitter notifications, but I don't have issue accessing my feed with the app.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? This fixed notifications for me on several apps

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling twitter but still the same on my S4. have you figured out the solution?

I found the solution in the Twitter App itself. at the Twitter mobile notification setting, just tick Tweets and it will be okay.
