Two camera folders in Gallery

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but in my gallery there are two folders labeled "Camera" one has a camera icon on the bottom corner, the other has a folder icon. Also the latter has substantially more pictures in it. Why is this and is there a way to only have one? I think I've tried deleting one of them but it just came right back (that might explain why one has less pictures than the other) thank you for your help.

Maybe one is on the phone memory and one on sdcard? Did you change the storage location in the camera?

Try using my files to view DCIM folder on sd and internal to see if both contain folders

The camera folder on the DCIM folder on the external sd card has all the pictures from both folders in the gallery. But the camera folder on the DCIM folder on the Internal memory has only a few pictures from both folders and all the pictures from neither. It makes sense that that would be the answer but why would some of the pictures go to the internal memory and not the sd card and vice versa? Also even though the camera folder on the sd card has all the pictures, neither of the folders in the gallery have all of them. Thank you again

Correction, the camera folder in the DCIM folder in the internal memory has all of the pictures from the folder in the gallery with the camera icon, and none of the others. But the folder on the sd has all the pictures on both folders in the gallery, but the other folder in the gallery doesn't have all the pictures. So for some reason some pictures are going to my internal memory and the rest are going to my sd card. I just wish one of the folders in the gallery had all the pictures.
