Hey all Android geeks :-)

I think i'm more then normal stupid, but hope not :-p

The problem is, that i have borught a big lot of Android-phones from china, and i whanted to root one of them and have some fun with that.

I got it rooted with a lots of trubble and started to play arround with it.

By not knowing things about the TP Firmware update, i stupid as i am, did the update and now the touchscreen and buttons (home, back buttons) stoped working.

I thod that updates where a good thing, but aperrently not :-(

Info on the phones:
on the box it says MG7.

i know it's the MTK6572 chipset

There is root accecs on one of them.

Are the phones totaly bricked or can the tp firmware update be rooled back?

BTW Sorry for my bad english, i tryed my best ;-)

hope some badass android dudes can help me out here, thx.

You probably updated the wrong firmware, wasn't the correct build for this particular device, and that's why touch-screen, etc. are now not working. Only info I can find about anything called "MG7" is a Chinese car. Problem is you need to find the original manufacturer's firmware, in order to restore them. Try contacting the place you purchased them, can't really suggest anything else.

That's about as scary cheapo you can get with these things. Didn't even know could use Kitkat 4.4 with only 256MB RAM. Something to mess around with possibly, but wouldn't want to be using them as a smart-phone.

Hello agin. Yes That's the phone, mikestony. I have tryed that, but thes only sell the phones and does not have firmware for the phones. Can i pull the firmware from anotther one and flash it to the 2 dead ones?
