Two Finger Salute

When we get flash for our devices, then the possibility of watching more streamed media becomes a distinct possibility. Until that day happens (and no one knows exactly when) we have to be patient, but on the bright side we can gleefully stick two fingers up in the air to our friends who have I-Phones because they are not getting flash. It's a waiting game I'm afraid, between you, me and a million others

Wondering if you can substantiate the myth that the two finger salute was ? :

A sign to the opposing forces (notably the French) that you still had your bow fingers ... (as the story goes ... archery captives had their index and middle fingers removed so they could no longer pull a bow with them removed) ????
