Two finger status bar pull-down?

Since Verizon announced the push out of 5.1.1 to my phone yesterday, I've been researching the difference between 5.0, which I have, and the new roll out. I noticed it mentioned that there is an option to pull down the status bar twice, or once with two fingers even in 5.0. This doesn't seem to be working for me. Am I alone?

It's in Nova Setting in Gestures:

I'm using a Dark Nova (themed) but same app

Nova Prime... Never leave home without it!
I'm not talking about the two finger swipe gesture from Nova prime. I'm talking about the two finger swipe down on the status bar that leads you to another settings menu that is a feature of lollipop. Which doesn't seem to work for me. I use Nova prime too. My two finger swipe down with me to Pandora

Are you talking about the menu that you can pull down after you've pulled down the status bar, like it's on top of the statuses?

The words you need are - quick settings.

Standard Lollipop, you pull down the status bar with two fingers and you get quick settings - on/off toggles for airplane mode, wifi, cell data, whatever, etc etc.

And you're missing that after the update?

Forgive if already discussed - did you wipe cache from recovery after the update? That tends to clear up weird problems, and a good thing to do after any Android update.

Yes that is what I'm talking about. And it does not work on my galaxy s6 even after the update. I've tried it on stock TouchWiz and while using Nova
