Hi
A long time ago I tried and failed to root my S2 and ended up reverting it back to a copy of the original O2 firmware. To be honest, I didn't really know what I was doing and I think the sheer variety of firmware versions for the S2 out-foxed me.
Anyway, when I try to upgrade to Jelly Bean using Kies it shows that my phone has two firmware versions and will not upgrade to Jelly Bean, giveing me a message in Korean that says (as translated by a Korean friend):
"In case binary file is unregistered, upgrade can't be done.
So check if binary file is registered."
I have tried doing a factory reset on the phone, but it doesn't help.
My phone is on the O2 network in the UK.
Can anyone help me to get it upgraded to Jelly Bean? I know that it's probably a bit of a challenge.
Any help gratefully accepted.
