I just got the Motion a day ago, the only thing I do not like about it is that the apps can't be moved to SD, even do it has a 5Gb internal memory I will like to decide how to use those 5Gb myself.
About paying U$S 15 to go back to your Admire, that is only if you take it to a store, but why will you get ripped off for no reason? just dial *228 from the phone you want to activate and it is free to switch phones all day long.
I agree about the charger on the side, I like it in the bottom like my admire as well, but hey it is just different, I amazed with the speed of this phone, and the 4G is quite fast too if I have 3 Bars or more I get around 5.6 Mb down and 3.6 Up, compared to the sad 0.77 Down 0.65 Up that I use to get with mi Admire on 3G in the same areas.
All I can say is that I love the LG Motion, so far has been more than great, transferring files is a breeze, I don't even turn on the Wi-Fi anymore while at home, since the speed of the 4G is more than enough.
Thanks for the camera buttons tip, haven't had time to play much with it yet, but it is already rooted and clean from any Metro Crapware and some non-sense apps included on the stock ICS.
As the warranty goes, Rooted or not is covered by the warranty, removing Super User from the list of apps will look like it is not rooted. The manufacturer really does not want to receive back bricked phones they should release a way to unbrick them, like a factory full flash recovery program to the original stock rom, erasing absolutely all inside the phone. And never go to an authorized dealer, go directly to Metro Corporate Store for any warranty.
