I have two problems with my huawei acsend g300, and if possible I'd like a solution without rooting, because that my cancel my warranty which I'd very much like to avoid.
So the first:
When I got the phone, it had 2.3 Android. I had a problem of the playlist getting deleted after a while. I don't know when this happened reset/turn off/usb connection because I don't use the music player every day and I didn't check after those things.
I was convinced to upgrade to Android 4 just because I was told it's better. So I did. To my delight it solved that problem, but unfortunately it brought a few others (like my storage space reduced dramatically with the same downloaded programs I have 400mb on my phone on 2.3 while on 4 it's like a 100 or so.) and it got slow, so while it solved a problem I hated, and I did love a couple of things in it, I decided to downgrade to 2.3 again.
Now I'd like to know if there is a solution for the playlist problem.
The other problem showed up after the downgrade:
The ringtones set for various people in my phonebook don't work, the files are put in the specific folder where the phone sees it as a ringtone, and it sets it, it shows up in the phonebook, but it rings on the one I set as a default ringtone. It worked on 2.3, worked on 4 and now again on 2.3 doesn't work.
Also there is another thing, when I use usb storage my ringtones (notifications and all) get messed up or reverted to the default. As I understand this is because while it's used as usb storage both my sd card and the phones internal is in use. As far as I know the only solution to this is to this is a rooted phone and put the ringtone the internal memory that's untouchabe on an unrooted phone. If I'm wrong, feel free to point me in the right direction on this too.
Of course both the Android 4 and the 2.3 I downgraded to was provided by my carrier's website.
