Help Two problems with my HTC flyer

The first problem Im facing is the notification bar being laggy for some reason when I pull it down.
Another problem is when i open the task manager it says I have 230 free RAM but when i go to running services it says i have 530.

Is it just me or everybody that owns one has that problem

Actually, they're both right.

There are different "levels" of memory use. A loaded app can be actively running or on standby, where it doesn't actually run, but it's ready to use anyway.

Task Manager is counting those standby apps, where the Running Services page is not.

I played around in SuperBox, which has a function to kill the standby programs, and my free RAM went from 100MB, the number shown in Task Manager, to over 400MB, the number shown in Running Services.

While Task Manager shows actual, unallocated memory, the figure in Running Services is probably more useful, since that's the amount of RAM that is actually available to use if needed.
