Two questions about TapFish

Btw, there's a new fish in the Endangered category called the Red Parrot. It's freaking huge when full grown! If you want to see it, it's in my "ObeeWan" tank, at the beginning of all the tanks.

Also, there's now "Jumbo brick" that costs 16 bucks and lasts for 60 days....

I just filled a couple of tanks with the Red Parrots so I guess it's going to get pretty crowded in there when they grow up!

:( Yeah right, I'm gonna go out there and spend 16 hard-earned bucks on a food brick that expires in a couple of months. I guess I'll have to make do with spending 50,000K every week on every tank instead.
 
My game data is fine. But I only have four fishbucks after trying for jackpot second background. Which I didn't get. Maybe I should update the game. Cause I can't rotate food blocks for 70+ tanks every week.

Rotate food blocks?

I swear the devs know what's up and check this forum for the latest updates on "what to fix," which is why I still think we should find our own forum so we can talk freely without worry.
 
If food blocks go out in a week but it's fine, I just restored my game which fixed the SQLite file and allowed me to give myself 25,000 bucks lol
 
Where did you get the back to school items from???

im level 26 leveling with snappers, making money with gammas and grunt fish. is that ok?

obee and tomagoshi tanks are so pretty:D

I've been trying to load your tanks obee but it wont let me, i guess london to philly is stretching neighbour a little too much for my network. It made it as far as 46% loaded before crashing this time.
 
I don't understand why it won't move to SD. Also, if you uninstall, reinstall, and restore, doesn't it come back much smaller?
 
That's weird. I have all 70MB on the SD card on mine (Droid X). That's just by using the settings functions. I would have thought you'd be able to transfer it manually if you're rooted.
 
Yeah mines nearly his size, but I'm trying to ignore it :/ I will no doubt do the uninstall/reinstall/restore game data after I backup and unlink.
 
I'm pretty sure I have the whole thing on the SD card because when I go to Settings/Applications/Storage/"On SD Card" it shows Tapfish as
Total 77.16MB
Application 1.96MG
Data 75.2

However, when I view the SD card using "Files" I have not been able to find it these large data file(s) any folder, so I don't know where they are hiding. Do you know the folder name?

NOOOOO dont your tanks are amazing, you can make the data smalled by uninstalling and reinstalling and restore like droidros said, i did it and instead of taking up allmost 70mb it now takes up 10-15mb;)
 
I'm so close to pulling out. I can't support a game that is so messed up and keeps messing itself up, by the developers intentionally screwing their customers over.

Regardless if I'm rooted I spent plenty of money in the beginning, and of course spent a-helluva-lot of time organizing my tanks for nothing. The fact that the game's data increases exponentially just for visiting neighbors tanks .... Thats a bunch of BULLSHH!T. What are we to expect next? I can't believe a company of a GAME would find it so easy to take advantage of its players. Sigh. Whatever. It was fun, I guess, but now it just makes me mad.

Calm down...take a deep breath. You've spent money and many hours and you've been having FUN! Maybe take a break, but don't desert us altogether!! If it's space that's the issue, why don't you try uninstalling and reinstalling?
 
No, it's that it adds data to YOUR phone when you visit my tanks. So no one will visit each others tanks any more, because it will add more mbs to their game. That's why I'm upset.

I don't know if you read what jammyluke wrote in the other forum, but basically what happened was he looked at his data before visiting my tanks and after. Before, it was at Xmbs, and after 40mbs were added to the data!!!!!! He tried again, and with others, and the same thing happened. So that's why everyone's data was getting so high and we couldn't figure out why... Cause we visited each others tanks! :(

Now there's no incentive for people to visit each others tanks, which was one of the reasons why I liked to play- to display my decorations, designs, and fish.
