Help Two Samsung Admire Problems, help?

SeemsLegit

Member
So I just got a used Samsung admire, I think it may have had water damage, but very little considering everything is working perfect except the camera and wifi.

Now the Wifi, I semi-fixed. See, when i got this phone i connected it to my wifi network wich has WPA/WPA2 security.. But it wouldnt actually connect without the network error. So i thought maybe its my router/modem. I reset BOTH many times, still nothing. Please note that my Optimus M was running on that same network and it was using kik, and the web browser fine. No connectivity problems at all. So what i did was, remove the security on my network making it for anyone to acsess. I do NOT want to keep my network open, because all the people around me always look for open wifi hotspots... It has to be the phone, because even when i put the security back on it would say that it failed to connect. BUT thats not my big issue at the moment.

The CAMERA seems to be my bigger problem. I've done research on google and some people with different phones have had this problem but i dont think there ever was a fix. Whenever i go to the camera app, or any third party apps having to do with camera permissions, it automatically reboots. I know people are having a "Cannot connect to camera" issue, but mine is different I think. I did Factory reset three times and still nothing.

Can anyone help me out?

Well a factory reset won't necessarily fix those problems since all it does is just wipe your data and cache. Just try installing a new rom and see if you still have that problem
