I really, REALLY wanted to get this phone. I'm a Nintendo DS fan, so I love the dual screens. Then I find out that there is no 4G on this phone.

and it isn't I have gone a full work day(10am to 830pm) plus without charging or changing the battery with about two hours of internet, gaming and some revision3 videos / youtube videos and still have about 30% battery life
Battery life is actually pretty good. I know someone that has the Echo, and it lasts about as long as my Hero with 2.1

Battery wise, this device has not been that different from my EVO. (Which is terrible BTW as far as battery goes) The lesson seems to be that all these smart phones are best with a second battery since we do some much with them. Thank goodness the echo comes with one.

4G would only give you a reason to pay $10 more a month for a service you're most likely not even able to use (unless you live in a 4G area). I have the EVO Shift and that extra $10 sucks!
