Help two small questions (newbie)

Hello, I got myself a Xperia-E-Dual. Works great ! Now i have two questions. In the upper part there is a small white "tulip-symbol" , what is this ?
and
the standard installed Xperia Facebook (don't know the exact name anymore) didn't work , i added some photo's from my family to follow, but was unable to synchronize. Because i had the same problem with WhatsApp i removed and installed it again. But now i have deleted Xperia for Windows i cannot find it again to re-install it .

Which Tulip_symbol? can you upload a picture? to capture a screenshot, hold down VOL - and power button together?

and yea.. If you've got some problem with your device.. just reflash it (without using the wipe data option)
