Intro

I just got TWRP working on this phone and so I thought I would share it with you. And yes it does boot. And everything works to. Its also Viewpoint Technologies certificatied.
  • Do not turn the screen timeout on or you will get bugs
  • Always make a backup of your ROM before flashing
  • Never flash LG L70 ROMs
  • I recommend backing up to the SD card so you wont get low space notifications on the phone.

And flash at your own risk. If you flash this on the L70 you will have issues.

Much thanks to @SuperR for fixing some of the bugs and issues in this recovery. Without him we would not have a fully-working bug-free recovery. He spent his time and effort on fixing bugs in the recovery. And also thank you @edodson84 for testing plus helping out with this recovery. I have learned a lot of stuff from you, thanks bro! And also much thanks to @elisam98 sharing some code on github this helped build the recovery. I modified the recovery code to work on the L41C.

As @rcunningham said this is a alpha no function recovery intended for testing purposes only!!!! Feedback is greatly appreciated :) and after flashing to reboot into recovery select reboot recovery in the flashify settings menu

I found a workaround for some bugs so I can say its almost fully working. The data still fails to mount. But thanks for your help! Now I will try to make the G3 ROM amazing.

When I go to back up my data in TWRP it keeps saying, "Back up Complete - FAILED". This is the 3rd time that I have tried and I keep getting the FAILED message. Any ideas?

As I said before, this is not complete and still has some bugs. But did you select the Micro SD Card as your backup place? This is the only place you can backup your stuff. It will say it could not mount the data, but it still saves your data. This is a bug I can't fix.

Yes I did choose the SD Card as the backup source. I'm sure it's just some bugs.

It will always say fail but it does backup so yea. You just need to select the SD card every time you want to backup or view backups. Well, I will try to fix dat.

Is the screen still on? It takes about 1 minute. But in the latest TWRP version the screen does not time out. Use the newest TWRP so you don't have issues. I hope this helps.
