Help Txt Picture (Stock SMS App)

Any idea how you get your own "google" picture to show up when you are txt'g someone back and forth? I see the other person's pic but my pic is blank...even though I have a pic loaded in google and I have a contact with that pick called "My Email" under my Contacts?

open your contacts app, go to 'set up my profile'

set that up, you're good to go.

Thanks, I set up "my profile" with basically just my full name and gmail address.....so how long until my pic populates?

While in the text app, long press your icon. From there choose menu, edit, and update your photo. It's instant.
