Type-c and microSD support

Lack of a SD card slot is one of the more common complaints I see about phones, if the Galaxy S7 has one it should increase interest. :thumbsupdroid:

Yah I consider myself rather fortunate to not really need one at all. One less thing for me to get up in arms about :D

No SD card would be the deal breaker for me. I can live without the removable battery, but it would be nice. i just hope they will be using a better battery.

A phone without an SD slot and a removable battery is a deal breaker. I have an S5 with a 200 GB card. I have 20,000 songs (in .ogg format) 160 GB in the card. I am out making calls, love to listen to my music and use lots of nav programs. They use lots of battery for location and display. I hope that the S7 does have both slot and removable battery.

I don't mind a non-removable battery. I maybe took my Note 3 battery out like two times since I bought it two years ago.

What I do need is a SD slot. I will not pay a premium for storage space to Samsung when SD cards are so cheap. If the S7 doesn't have a SD slot, I will wait for the Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra to come out in March. I'll leave Samsung for good then.

Richard,

I hope you are wrong. Depending what kind of apps you are using, I can drain my S5 in just over 5 hours with some of the apps that use Location.

I'll be due an upgrade by the time this is out.

Proud owner of the Sony Z3 at the moment but if Samsung bring back these things then I would consider going back.
