Typing... damn! Weird

This may be weird as everything else I have read is people saying the other.... however, I find that it's alot easier fo rme to type in portrait mode than landscape...

Landscape there are more errors and it almost seems that the keyboard response is a tad slower/delayed. Portrait mode however is a lot faster and I hardly get spelling errors....

I noticed that when you configure the typing wizard you do it in portrait mode... is there a way to do it in landscape as well?

I also feel more accurate with portrait mode. I'm with you on the lag with landscape mode as well. I thought I was the only one.
 
I was shocked when I saw that my rather large, ham-fisted friend (I hope he's not reading this ;)) typed in portrait mode. He said it was no problem and worked better then landscape. So I gave it a try and after some practice I've not looked back. Now, I almost never use the landscape keyboard.
 
Yea I type in portrait more as well, I like it better for a few reasons:

1. More accurate quicker as others have said
2. faster typing when using browser, I HATE typing anything in the browser in landscape.
3. I like being able to still view the screen that I'm on
 
I too have noticed it to be easier most of the time. Also this being the first time I tried the portrait keyboard while posting on the forums, just noticed there is almost no lag in portrait compared to the horrible lag I experience while typing in landscape.
 
yes i to have noticed the same...

but one more thing...
my left thumb is not as confident / stable at hiting the right area.
past phones.. all virtual keyboards and all in portrait.
my left thumb has not been used much.. so now.. it feels clumsy.

So I prefer portrait but currently trying to train my left thumb
