Help Typing feature doesn't work

I dropped my phone today, everything works except typing. I am able to click on the area where I'm supposed to type, I can hear the click, but the keyboard never pops up. Any suggestions? I would like to not get a new phone if possible.

Check in Settings to see what your default keyboard is. That may have changed somehow when you dropped the phone.

I checked the name in the setting, and had to clear out the history in the app. once I did that, it was good to go again!
