Help Typing Lag While in Browser

Anyone else experiencing typing lag while in the browser? I tend to type quickly and the lag can sometimes register two button pushes. Any fix?

I haven't experienced much lag with the swiftkey tablet keyboard beta. Using Dophin HD browser as well.

I get that lag as well. Been meaning to try another keyboard app to see if it is in fact the keyboard.

i'm using thumb kb with stock browser and occasionally get the lag, most noticeable on a pop-up.

Its an Android OS issue. There is lag when typing in a browser on all android based devices, including phones and tablets.

I've read that changing the input method to the android keyboard helps? i've noticed that it does input a bit faster and there is less lag compared to the samsung input

I just spoke to the Samsung rep and he said that if multiple apps are open in the background, then lag is seen. I think he may be right, as I do not experience the lag all the time.

speaking of changing input method, what a pain. i don't understand why the option to long press a text box for input method option is not available.

I have keyboard lag in the stock, Maxthon, Dolphin HD and SkyFyre browsers. I have had no keyboard lag using Opera Mini. The only issue with OM is that it defaults to mobile sites if there is a mobile version, but it works great on this and all other forums I frequent.

If you look at the middle-right of your bottom dock/bar/whatever (where the honeycomb buttons are) while the keyboard is up, you'll see a little icon that looks like a keyboard, and you can change your input method there.

ha, thanks. still getting used to honeycomb. wonder why they changed that from froyo/gingerbread. seems like a better option to me.

There is no lag whatsoever in the Opera browsers. The textbox background is white and not blue, like the other browsers.

I think they are still trying to get the Android tablets to work. iPad is still out front IMO. Can't even effectively find tablet apps in the Android market. Come on guys, we have been more then patient waiting for this stuff to work the way it is supposed to!

tried opera mobile and no kb lag, but it doesn't play well with my thumb keyboard. for instance it won't save my text when replying to forum. same with username for login. after entering text, i hit the button to clear the kb and it also clears the entered text. i like the thumb keyboard too much to switch. will see how dolphin hd works.
