Hello,
This might be a digitizer problem - used to affect the first touch screen blackberrys - and the blackberry I had behaved similar to this.
Has the device suffered water damage, or been dropped? Is the screen unblemished with no cracks?
Something to try - type with the keyboard horizontal and try typing with the phone upside down - i.e using another part of the touchscreen to type. Does the problem go away or greatly reduce? If it stays exactly the same, (no improvement) then it could be a software issue - has anything changed in the last few days, new phone updates? New apps installed?
Try selecting a different keyboard in the settings if possible, see if that makes any difference.

The device did not suffer any water damage although it has been dropped a few times, but it has a protective silicone case. The screen is intact and it also has a protective layer of glass. The typing works better when sideways and also switching the keyboard seemed to improve the situation. Thank you, you helped me a lot. Based on the fact that you said this problem could be due to dropping I have one more question should I take it to a person specialized so they can take a look?

Hi Korne,
Looking at your video in very slow motion, the impact points are not very near the characters on the keyboard - if you are carefully making sure you are pressing the keys then the screen is not recording the keystrokes properly (in one case you could see the impact points were there on 3 different keys - which is not possible typing with one finger!)
If you believe the phone has not been water damaged and there is no physical evidence of glass breakage - even in the case - has the phone been bent? If you rest the phone on a flat surface, is the phone sitting completely flat on the surface?
If you are happy that there is no physical evidence of the phone being damaged, then the first thing to try is the software fixes, then if all else fails - take the phone to be inspected by an expert.

2. Enable or try swipe typing - so swipe the words drifting your finger from one key to another without removing it from the glass - any difference?
3. Try using a touch pen instead of your finger if you have such - any improvement?
4. Clean the glass surface screen thoroughly and carefully to remove grease and marks. Use a TINY amount of hand wash liquid on a damp tissue.
5. Scan the internet for typing issues with your device - I had a quick look and could not find anyone reporting the problems you have.
6. Factory reset the phone (back it up first if you need to). Use the default keyboard and see what happens.
Attempt all the things you can do for yourself before taking the device to have it looked at.
