Uber has been fined €800,000 in France for their UberPOP service. UberPOP allows European drivers to make money for driving people without having to get proper licenses from country authorities.
Many people have been against UberPOP as a result, and this fine means Uber is actually breaking the law. As a result, the company has fired 2 company executives for the mishap.
