Ubuntu Touch

Where does the Galaxy s2 stand when it comes to Ubuntu Touch? Is it possible for the device to run it or will this phone be supported at all? I've looked at the compatible devices and it seems the I9-- variant is supported which is pratically the same phone just different carrier right?

Any thoughts on this considering the release is in a week?
 
It is not the same phone. The I9000 series has different hardware. Our phone is an SPH-D710 and is also known as the Epic 4g Tough.
