Root Ubuntu user wondering how to get Clockwork Recovery

So I rooted my friends Admire successfully and would like to place a custom recovery on the phone as well. It would seem that it is possible to do this, but I don't have Windows. As the title states, I am running Ubuntu Linux 11.10. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I search this entire thread.

Maybe a vm would be able to help.
It wouldn't need much space if you only want to run Odin

Worked on my ex's Mac for running winxp with my old ascend so I figure its worth a shot
