Help Ugh... confused.

Well, I think I have to do a hard reset and wipe this thing because I cant figure out whats wrong and why my phone is draining the batter so fast. I used to get 16 hrs moderate use... now I get 2 hrs.

so I plug it in the comp.... and see all these folders but I dont know which ones I need.... I dont see an SD folder?

Does anyone know where I can a step by step guide or a simple way to back everything up on my phone so I don't loose all my pics, vids and music?

Thanks a million.

When you plug in your phone and the window pops up with all those folders....that is your virtual sd card. Just copy all the contents and paste to a folder on your PC. That would be a backup of sorts.

2 hours ehh? phew!

If you already have all of the music etc on the SD card in your phone, doing a hard reset won't affect them at all. I've done it a couple times now and all of my pictures and videos have stayed intact. Only things stored on the phones memory will be deleted. Also don't forget to export your contacts somewhere as well, as it's the easiest way to restore them back after you do the reset.

(going solely off the title) It's perfectly natural to have those kind of feelings.

look inside your settings and see whats draining your battery, get an app that monitors processor usage (different than most task killers) for me, for me its an app that was free on amazon (a few months ago) called watchdog. Found out that facebook was sucking down ~30 times more processing power (hence battery) than words with friends!

^ that was kind of off topic, but if you root your phone you can wipe without wiping the SD partition.

I'm going to recommend you just return the phone and get one of those flip jobbies.

At this point it sounds like you really don't need the stress of files, folders and stuff just to make phone calls.
