Okay, I should follow Scandalex's advice and stay away from all these threads discussing about drops. I've managed to drop my phone twice in short order. One straight flat on the screen and the second, it was bouncing between the wall and my drawer.
But what disgusted me was the fact that the Note 2 fell flat on it's screen face right on top of where my dog just finished doing her business. Lucky thing it was mostly grass from a height of 3 feet and the soil soaked up most of it. I was just texting my brother when my dog just quickly yanked hard away and knocked my Note 2 from me. Also glad the Otterbox was on it as well as the Spigen screen protector.
Got in, propped my phone between the wall and top of drawer and went to get some cleaning supplies. My dog must hate the Note 2 today as she managed to knock the drawer and my propped phone slid right down the crevice between. Now I had to yank the drawer and clean the back of it with the wall. then clean my dog's paws.
Then went to actually cleaning up the Note 2. Peeled off the Spigen and discarded it (oh well, it was time for a change anyways as it was all scratched up at the time). Stripped the Otterbox and gave it a thorough clean then cleaned the phone. Applied a new Spigen protector on and slapped everything back together. No sign of any real damage except for that little disgusting mishap. Also no odour. Very relieved with that fact. Next time, I'll have to be a little more careful.
I think I would have been more readily freaked out if it was naked with no protection. LOL.
