Uh seriously wtf (facebook apps and android apps)

I never gave pandora permission to do ANYTHING with my facebook. Yet the pandora app appears in my app settings on facebook. I know it's required if I want to share what I'm listening to on facebook... BUT I DON'T, and never indicated otherwise.

I never approved adding the app to my facebook.

Not only that but two other android apps did the same thing. wtf guys, privacy?

I haven't seen Pandora or any other Android app on my Facebook. But then again I don't use a Facebook app, I use the full webpage through my browser. That may have something to do with it.

I'm sure that's it. But just using the facebook app doesn't mean they can give access to my facebook info to every other app I download.

Facebook has a new pilot program that you have to opt out of otherwise they can share info with partner sites. To opt out you have to go to our account/privacy settings/applications and websites/instant personalization pilot program/ and then uncheck the box to opt out. I don't know if that's your problem but you might give it a try.

I don't know if that's it either, I sort of doubt it, but thanks for the heads up anyways.

I wouldn't get all freaked out about it. You'll find that as you listen to stations in pandora in your web browser now it has automatically added your facebook friends to your pandora friends. So now it will pop up a blurb about how your friends like the song that is currently playing.
