So earlier my tablet just keep shutting down i ignored it went on my way. Then later on it just keeps shutting down then showing the home screen (without the ui), i fixed it by plugging it on a power source
then pressing down the power button. Should I be concerned? Do you know what happened and will it happen again?

I haven't really experienced this but your battery could be really old and not holding a charge. What kind of tablet is it and when did you get it?

Its a PLDT Home Telpad, its fairly new about two years old
(Also I used it while charging a fair bit amount of times)

hard to say if it will happen again......and just an fyi "fairly new" does not mean a 2yr old tablet. batteries these days will last around 3-4 years before you start to see charging issues. you are more then half way there. so i do not think we can call this "fairly new".

if it keeps happening, i would try a factory reset. if it is still happening, then you might have start looking for another device. or you just might have to put up with the screen issue.
