I've been using them for a year now and they're great. I was worried that as they run off the back of the O2 network they'd get second rate data speeds, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Yeah giffgaff is great. The issue with premium numbers is a bit of a pain and i'd love an app that allows easy top-up but these are really minor things for such a cheap unlimited service.
Can one of you guys help me out. Lets say that the phones from 02 are locked. Will that mean 02 slows down the speed of android updates like they will do on contract? And will paying the small unlock fee remedy this? I imagine this will be the case.
