Help ulpoad video to facebook?

Hey guys

So I can upload photos to facebook via the facebook app itself or via the email facebook option...

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to upload a video I have on my phone to facebook.

I've even tried attaching it to an email, which in the gmail app it shows the attachment as blah.3gp but after I send it I've checked facebook plenty of times, and nothing is showing, but it does make a post and what I say in the subject lines shows just no video....!!

Is there an easy way to upload a video to facebook.

I've heard of Qik, and I do use that but that only works if you just took the video, what if you wanna upload something you took last night etc..

upload to YouTube then share to facebook. Only drawback is you must use WIFI. Am not aware of another way.

I don't wan't my videos on you tube, their must be a way of uploading them to Facebook, I even used to do this on my Omnia... I don't get why I can't attach it to an email, or even when I do, the email goes to Facebook but the attachment video does not.

Anyone else have any ideas.

I think the only way is via the YouTube method. If there is another way, I'd definitely like to know. But I use the YouTube method and have only heard of that one.

That sucks, my omnia used to do this... Must be a way.

What I don't get is why the email method don't work, as that the point of the mobile facebook email upload feature, so why does the attachment not post and it posts the message part.
 
Anyone know anything more for this? I used bloo and that seems to work but a long winded method, I was wondering if any quicker way to share a video with facebook without using youtube...
 
I used Qik when I had to upload a video. You don't have to take the video with Qik, just upload an existing video onto Qik and then share it. That's what I did cuz I was also surprised that I couldn't upload directly to Facebook.

Qik is nice, but I want the videos saved on Facebook not something else, maybe facebook app will get a update one day lol

Trust me, I agree wholeheartedly. I weiner what is keeping them from doing it.
 
I tried for an hour the other day and could not figure it out either. Finally gave up and plugged my phone into my laptop and just uploaded it through that. Would love a solution too.
 
It can be done via Facebook. You need to search Facebook for the answer. I had to create a Facebook email account type deal. You upload the video to your email account(gmail etc),and send them to a email address that facebook picks for you which then processes it and shows up under your Facebook account. The email account that receives it at Facebook is unusable for you to use as a reg email. It's kinda like a Craigslist dummy address linked to your name. Hard to type on this pos stock keyboard.
