Things that still need to be fixed:
- Lights
- Camcorder

Although it HAS been reported that the lights will work if you turn auto-brightness OFF, I have not tested it yet (just now getting ready to flash it).
Happy ROMming and remember to make a backup! :D

I HOPE that works. Guess there's only one way for me to find out - time to flash!

I can confirm that the button lights (not keyboard) WILL work if auto-brightness is turned off. The ROM works brilliantly for a Beta!

The keyboard does NOT do speech to text, which is a major bummer for me as I use it all the time.

Camcorder does not work. Everything else (including A2DP BT voice dial) works as far as I have tested. Not many customization options here, but it IS a Beta. Be advised.

For a ROM that Motorola and VZW said wouldn't work on the Droid1, it's working pretty well. GREAT JOB BLACKDROID! :D

I have to agree.
To me, there are just a few tweaks that need to be made and I would seriously consider using this build day to day.

I'm using it as a daily build right now.

I've owned my DROID over a year, I'm pretty damned positive I know which softkey I'm pressing when I press one. Lights? Who needs them?

As for the camera / camcorder, well, I have a camera to keep with me anyway, so it is not imperative that I get it immediately.

I drive for a living and use speech to text while driving so it's a MUST for me....haven't tried UD3 yet, hope the final release will have speech to text, until then I'll keep enjoying UD 2.5

I had this issue with a past ROM and I'm having it again with 3.0. My Gmail is not constantly updating. I have it set up to sync in accounts, but I have to physically refresh to receive emails. Anyone have any thoughts? Should I delete the account and reset it up?

Did you manually set up the account in the first place or did you do a Titanium backup restore?

If you manually set up the account, it cannot hurt but I suspect that something else is at play.

If you restored - definitely reset up - restoring via TiBu in a Beta ROM is probably not a good idea.

Well, I have UD 3.0 up and running (great so far), and when I originally flashed it, the sweet screen off/on animation was working. But, then i ran TiBu and ever since, the animation won't come back. Any thoughts?

I also tweaked some other settings that MIGHT be related (like disabling boot animation, which I would like to restore, just can't remember where it was!).

Ok, found the setting and selected "restore boot animation." However, it did not restore said boot animation...grf :(
