Root Ultimate Droid 6.0 (ESE53 Base)

So far, pretty cool. Still reconfigurin all of my apps and settings, but really cool. The nexus LWP is now called "neural network" and says a peak insided the droids cybernetic brain. Also like that the htc keyboard now works in landscape
 
I am goig to be using Swype instead, so the KB matters not much to me. About to boot this puppy, copy my apps over, and then start playing with SetCPU and TempMonitor...
 
I actually had some problems with 6.0. I actually liked 5.5 better and didn't find the launcher any better (in fact, I liked the launcher in 5.5 better). No matter what I did, I could not get a WIFI connection. Tried reflashing, rebooting, installing a new kernel, resetting my router/modem...everything. No dice. This is what I love about messing with ROMs. I was really pleased with the latest version of Smoked Glass and had that all nice and tweaked. So I just wiped everything and restored that and viola. All systems normal. I foolishly did not back up before switching from UD5.5 to UD6.0, but even still, after the "wow" factor left, I still liked SG better.
 
I might go back to 5.5 depending upon what I find in 6.x - 6.0 will not boot after I ran some of the scripts, so I am going to flash to 6.1 and see if I can get it working or not. If not, I go back to 5.5 (and I like the launcher2 in 5.5 anyway, that lack of the 3D effect kills the launcher IMNSHO).
