Ummm.... HI?

I have been a member for a while, but haven't had much time to post. Just wanted to pop in and check things out and not just be a "lurker"!

I have had my HTC Inspire for about a month, and besides a few quirks and the cruddy battery life, I REALLY like it. I was with TMobile prior to switching and had the Samsung Vibrant. I really liked that phone, but when I moved to Pacifica I found that TMobile's coverage is horrible here. HOwever, my son now uses my Samsung for his MP3 player and also plays a couple of games... I also didn't realize how much lighter the Vibrant was until I picked it up the other day ! wow, I am rambling. I'm quite shy and never know what ot say on these "intro" posts!!

So, any tips on battery life issues?? Also, I can't figure out how to set up my theft protection password?? it is "enabled", but I can't figure it out. Help?

As intro posts go, I'd say that one was fine.

What sort of battery are you getting out of the Inspire? I've the UK, 3G variant, the Desire HD and I've found with a little tweaking (and dependant on usage), I manage about 2 days out of it.

There are the usual things like turning down screen brightness, turning off autosync & 3G/WiFi when you don't need it but if you head to the Inspire Section, they should be able to assist: HTC Inspire 4G - Android Forums
